In 1989, Arizona created GPEC to help cities collaborate — not compete — in the race for economic growth. Today, our startup community faces a similar need for connection, alignment, and a shared voice.
Silicon Oasis is the GPEC of Arizona’s tech ecosystem — but built for founders, not cities.
We’re a founder-led movement uniting Arizona’s innovators, investors, and ecosystem builders to amplify what’s happening in the desert and build a stronger, more connected tech community.
Our mission is simple:
Unite Arizona’s Startup Ecosystem.
We do this by:
- Hosting curated events that foster real connection
- Telling the stories of Arizona’s startups and ecosystem leaders
- Partnering with existing tech communities to elevate their work — not compete with it
- Advocating for Arizona as a national innovation hub
- And launching the Silicon Oasis Summit — an annual statewide gathering of the people shaping Arizona’s tech future
